My Boxing Bio
My boxing career properly started at the age of 18, however I took a liking to the sport at the age of around 13 when my Dad took me to watch Kickboxing shows at our local leisure centre.
Watching the women box, it triggered me into thinking that this sport would be something I could be good at. Always a shy kid, I didn’t act instantly but when I turned 18 I watched a kick boxing show at a local nightclub and this is when I plucked up the courage to attend kickboxing classes.
I trained as a Kick Boxer for 2 ½ years. I achieved a few belts and took part in a few club shows but nothing serious.
I was then introduced to Boxing by a friend. He introduced me to Paul Day an Ex Professional Boxer and coach at Stevenage Boxing Club who instantly took me under his wing and we have been a team ever since, along with Paul Webber.
I boxed as an amateur for approximately 6 years, completing in a total of 20 fights.
I boxed in the National Championships achieving a Bronze medal, boxed for The Home Counties in Jersey, became the Home Counties Champion, won Gold at the Haringey Box Cup as well as attending many England Talent camps and training with the GB Olympic Team.
In 2017 I made the decision to turn professional.
I have just signed a new management deal with Steve Goodwin and have my eyes set on competing for a commonwealth title in the near future
Alongside my boxing career I am a qualified Boxing coach under England Boxing, as well as a Personal Trainer and GP Referral Coach.
